For the first time in two decades, I directly talked with Mrs.Sato, as I did when I was a toddler in Hokkaido. This became, unfortunately, the last call with her.

I didn’t have any beforehand meeting with Mrs.Sato for the reality of a call. But I did the phone call to the children’s treatment center where Mrs.Sato worked with no rehearsal. There was a sharp image of Mrs. Sato with her voice weathered in 20 years. And yet, it breathed the calm atmosphere of Hokkaido to the photograph of my younghood. I tried to depict the conversation, which represents that atmosphere and the character of Mrs. Sato, and the portrait of myself in 3 minutes and a half.
