増田さんが勧めてくれたヴァージニア・ウルフの『自分ひとりの部屋（A Room of One’s Own）』を、十和田の路上、品川駅のコンコース、国会議事堂の前、実家の居間で自身が朗読する様子で撮った。暴力的にみえるかもしれないが、男性の身体を持つ自分が異性の抱える痛みの当事者にはなれないこと、外側に出た状態の声を捉える。

I was reading "A Room of One’s Own" by Virginia Woolf at various places in Japan; A country-side road in Towada, the concourse in Shinagawa, in front of the national parliament, and a dining in my parents' home. This was an attempt to digest how I as a male could/couldn't represent the pain of the others.
